How Poshmark fees work (US sellers)
- Under $15: a flat $2.95 fee per sale. You keep the rest.
- $15 or more: 20% of the sale price. You keep 80%.
- No separate processing or listing fees: Poshmark covers card processing out of its fee.
- Shipping: the buyer pays for Poshmark's prepaid label (standard label $6.49 up to 5 lb). The fee is on the sale price only. If you offer a shipping discount or free shipping, that amount comes out of your earnings.
Worked example
You sell a jacket for $50. You paid $15 and offer no shipping discount.
- Poshmark fee: 20% × $50 = $10.00
- Your earnings: $40.00 · Item cost: $15.00
- Net profit: $25.00 (50% margin)

How much does Poshmark take per sale?
For US sales under $15, Poshmark charges a flat $2.95. For sales of $15 or more it takes 20% of the sale price, so you keep 80%. There is no separate payment processing fee.
Does Poshmark charge a fee on shipping?
No. The buyer pays for the prepaid shipping label and Poshmark's fee is calculated on the sale price only. If you offer a shipping discount, the discount is deducted from your earnings.
Is it better to price at $14.99 or $15?
At $14.99 you keep $12.04 (flat $2.95 fee). At $15.00 you keep $12.00 (20% fee). Pricing just under $15 nets slightly more; well above $15, the 20% rate applies.
Does Poshmark have a buyer protection fee now?
No. Poshmark removed the short-lived Buyer Protection Fee and returned to its original seller fee structure on October 24, 2024.
